to chicago, my city

 Hi Divas!

I write to you thoroughly and extremely exhausted. This midwestern diva drove to Chicago for the first time in her own car - on her own - with no a.c.

Yes.. no a.c.

BUT! Despite almost dying of a heat stroke, driving to the city wasn't that bad.

Now, I hope I don't eat my words when I have to drive myself up to school (7 hours btw and also will be my first time), but I kind of liked it. And, to my fellow anxious drivers, I definitely recommend sing-yelling to your favorite musicals on the way. Very therapeutic.

What did I do while in Chicago? Well, I visited the elusive, glorious, and educational Field Museum! I have visited many times throughout my life - as a Chicago suburbs girl - but each time feels like the first. It's genuinely so beautiful and I could stay all day.

Me with a dinosaur!!!

I took my nephew to see the Pokemon exhibit - which was pretty epic - and I loved watching him nerd out over everything. He's the sweetest of pies and I'm happy we got to do something special together before I  leave for school.

Last year, they had the Spider-man exhibit and I sadly - grievously - did not get to see it. So, I was living vicariously through him in what would have been my biggest nerd out session.

Also...

I want to say thank you for all the love, comments, and support I've received from all my blogging divas on here! You guys are all so sweet and are making this experience so fun. I won't lie..this diva is not very tech savvy. So bear with me as I try to figure out how one responds to messages on my little chat room ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و

Kisses,

Angie
